This catalogue accompanies the exhibition of Henry Moore’s drawings and sculptures from Chicago collections, organized by Joseph Randall Shapiro for the Renaissance Society and the Committee for the 25th Anniversary Observance of the First Nuclear Chain Reaction.

The exhibition was held at the Renaissance Society and the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration Building, 969 East 60th St., in collaboration with the 1967 unveiling of Nuclear Energy. Moore created the monumental bronze sculpture for the University of Chicago to commemorate the first nuclear chain reaction.

The catalogue contains a short text of some thoughts by Moore himself on his practice and sculpture in general.

Published by the Renaissance Society, 1967, first edition, staple-bound softcover, 16 pages.
